Full-Time English, Math or Science Teachers for Overseas Chinese Sanya School on Hainan Island

We are looking for you – a compassion and dynamic TEACHER – molding the mind of the next generation

Reporting to the Vice Principal (Academics), and assigned under the Foreign Teacher Department, you must have the compassion and a strong desire to teach and be a good role model for Elementary students at the Overseas Chinese Sanya School (International Division) in Sanya, Hainan, China.

Teaching subjects – English, Math and/or Science.

Job Duties:

–  Responsible for planning and delivering lessons utilizing core curriculum, and creating

compatible supplementary teaching and learning materials

–  Prepare and set tests and examination papers

–  Evaluate and provide appropriate feedback on students’ academic and non-academic

performances

–  Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive

classroom environment

–  Responsible for creating a safe environment for students so they are able to get out of their

comfort zones

–  Collaborate and share with other teachers (local & foreign) to improve teaching skills, share

teaching resources and create an overall better learning environment

–  Participate in co-curricular activities with the students

–  Participate in school-wide activities, such as workshops and special events to recruit new

students

–  Supervise students in and out-of-classroom activities during the assigned working day

–  Undertake administrative tasks, such as keeping student registers and attendance records

–  Attend and contribute to teacher training sessions

–  Other duties as assigned and as required

–  At least 2 years of teaching experience

Compensation:

–  Competitive expatriate salary RMB 15,000 – 20,000

–  Free accommodation (single), fully furnished

–  Complimentary 3 meals per day (weekdays)

Do you have these?

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Education or related
• Teaching certificate / Diploma in TESOL, CELTA or similar
• At least 2 years of prior teaching experience, preferably in English, Maths and/or Science
